Plot :
The Netherlands declared unilaterally unconstrained by the Renville agreement, stating the cessation of the ceasefire. On 19 December 1948, General Simons Spoor Commander of the Dutch Army led the second military aggression against Yogyakarta which was then the capital of the Republic.
Soekarno-Hatta was arrested and exiled to Bangka Island. General Soedirman, who was severely ill, traveled south and led a seven-month guerrilla war.
The Netherlands declared Indonesia no longer exist. From the depths of the forest, General Soedirman broadcasts that the Republic of Indonesia still exists, firmly standing with its powerful National Army.
Soedirman made Java a vast battlefield of guerilla warfare, leaving the Dutch out of logistics and time.
The unity of the TNI and the people finally won the war. Signed by the Roem-Royen Agreement, the Kingdom of the Netherlands acknowledged the complete sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia
